Schwab, Moise

(1839-1918)
   French scholar. He was born in Paris. He served as secretary to Salomon Munk (1857-66), then from 1869 worked at the Bibliotheque Nationale. He translated the Palestinian Talmud into French, and described the Hebrew manuscripts and incunabula in the library of the Alliance Israelite Universelle and other libraries. His writings include Abravanel et son epoque and Historie des Israelites.
